The Opportunity A rare opportunity exists for a warm, experienced Director to lead this close‑knit team of educators and teachers. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you’ll mentor, guide, and uplift your team while ensuring the Centre remains a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children. The Centre is fully staffed with a friendly and capable team who are excited for supportive leadership. You’ll also be working closely with an experienced Assistant Director to keep day‑to‑day operations running smoothly. The Benefit A generous salary of up to $55super per hour depending on qualification Support from a welcoming management committee Plenty of ongoing professional development opportunities A beautiful natural outdoor play area and cosy community feel The Ideal Applicant We’re looking for someone with at least 2 years of experience as a Centre Director in a long day care or early childhood setting, along with: A Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or Bachelor of Early Childhood Teaching (or ACECQA‑approved equivalent) Strong understanding of the EYLF and National Quality Standard Current First Aid, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis qualifications Working With Children Check and RHHAN‑EC A warm, approachable leadership style and a passion for building genuine relationships with children, families, and staff You’ll thrive in this role if you love being part of a small, supportive community and enjoy creating spaces where children feel safe, confident, and inspired.
