As we continue to grow, we're looking for Casual Contact Centre Officers to join our high-performing team and be a key point of contact across our client network. About the Role: We are looking for casual team members who have available across a rotating 24/7 roster , including overnights and weekends . As a Contact Centre Officer, you'll be the first voice and impression clients and referring vets have of SASH. Your ability to engage compassionately and efficiently with pet owners during what can be highly emotional moments, will be critical. You'll provide professional support by: Managing a high volume of inbound and outbound calls Assisting clients with appointment booking and general enquiries via phone and email Converting general enquires into confirmed appointments by clearly explaining SASH's values and services Processing payments over the phone Supporting clients through the pet insurance claim process Liaising with internal specialists, vets, and nurses to ensure seamless communication This role offers variety – no two days are the same! About You: We are looking for someone who is a positive and motivated team player, with a ‘can do’ attitude, who can bring an engaging energy to the team. You'll thrive in fast-paced environments and have the confidence to manage complex or emotional conversations with care. We're looking for someone with: Demonstrated experience in a contact centre or high-volume customer service environment Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Excellent multitasking and time management abilities High attention to detail and accuracy Basic sales acumen and the ability to convert enquires into bookings Empathy and emotional resilience A solutions-focused mindset Medical or veterinary knowledge is advantageous, but not essential Why Join SASH?
