As we continue to grow, we're seeking a Contact Centre Officer to join our high-performing team and serve as a key point of contact for our clients and referring vets. We are seeking compassionate and professional Contact Centre Officers who are available to work across a rotating 24/7 roster (including overnights and weekends) with Full-time and Part-time opportunities available. About the Role: As the first point of contact for clients and referring veterinarians, you'll provide empathetic and efficient service during what can often be emotional and stressful times for pet owners. You'll provide professional support by: Managing a high volume of inbound and outbound calls Assisting clients with appointment booking and general enquiries via phone and email Converting general enquires into confirmed appointments by clearly explaining SASH's values and services Processing payments over the phone Supporting clients through the pet insurance claim process Liaising with internal specialists, vets, and nurses to ensure seamless communication This role offers variety – no two days are the same! About You: We're looking for a motivated and positive team player with a ‘can do’ attitude that thrives in a fast-paced environment and has the emotional resilience to handle complex and sometimes distressing situations with care. You'll bring: Demonstrated experience in a contact centre or high-volume customer service environment Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Excellent multitasking and time management abilities High attention to detail and accuracy Sales acumen and the ability to convert enquires into bookings Empathy and emotional resilience A solutions-focused mindset with a willingness to learn Medical or veterinary knowledge is advantageous, but not essential Why Join SASH?
