A Freight Clerk at SRT Logistics is more than just an administration role. Our Freight Clerks play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods throughout our supply chain network. Your exceptional organizational and communication skills will be utilised to manage various administrative tasks and support our team in delivering exceptional service to our clients. Responsibilities: Process and manage incoming and outgoing freight, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations. Maintain and update shipment records, tracking information, and related documentation. Coordinate with drivers, warehouse staff, and other stakeholders to schedule deliveries and pickups. Handle customer inquiries and provide timely updates on freight statuses. Assist in resolving any logistical challenges and provide proactive solutions. Uphold strict safety standards and adhere to transportation regulations. What you'll need: HR/ HC Driving License (desirable but not required) Strong communication and interpersonal skills - a true people person Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities System savvy - experience with freight systems is a bonus Knowledge of Freight2020 is highly desirable Team player with a proactive attitude Previous experience in freight or logistics is an advantage Customer service experience At SRT "Our purpose is to provide leading, end to end supply chain services".
