Our client is a well-established Brisbane based company operating for over 30 years. They are the HVAC-R hygiene experts, specialising in Ventilation and Air Restoration, HVAC-R Hygiene and Duct Cleaning. Serving commercial contracts in Queensland and New South Wales, trusted by Government, Healthcare, Public and Private Sector Organisations. Our client has multiple roles for Trade Assistants & Offsiders in HVAC restoration and cleaning. To commence with these positions will be on a casual basis (still 38hrs per week), with the potential to become permanent full-time. Responsibilities in this position include assisting in the preventative maintenance and repairs on ventilation systems, including fans, ducts, filters and controls. The opportunity to work in a variety of settings from hospitals and schools to offices and industrial facilities. This role would suit someone with a keen interest in HVAC, wanted to make a career in the industry with our client allowing different career paths (opportunities such as Team Leaders and Supervisors). Requirements ● Experience in ventilation systems or electrical systems a plus ● Experience in another field such as surface prep or spray painting or commercial cleaning and wanting to move into the HVAC cleaning/ restoration industry ● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills ● Ability to work different set rosters such as day shifts and night shift ● Physically fit, no medical restrictions preventing carrying tasks in the job description ● A valid drivers license ● Attention to detail and commitment to safety
