Your new role As a Handy Person, youll be responsible for carrying out a wide range of general maintenance tasks across the site. This is a handson role where no two days are the same, involving reactive repairs, preventative maintenance and basic trade works. Youll work closely with facilities and operational teams to ensure the environment remains safe, compliant and presentable at all times.Typical duties will include minor carpentry, patching and painting, basic plumbing repairs, changing fixtures and fittings, assembling furniture, and responding to adhoc maintenance requests. Youll also assist with inspections, identify maintenance issues early and escalate works where required. What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, youll need previous experience in a similar handy person or maintenance position. Youll be confident using hand and power tools and have a practical, solutionsfocused approach to your work. Strong communication skills, the ability to work independently, and a good understanding of safety procedures are essential. A trade background or relevant tickets will be highly regarded, as will experience working in regulated or highcompliance environments.
