Key Responsibilities Manage and review accounting, tax and compliance work for a broad SME, trust and individual client base Provide value-added insights — tax planning, structuring and business improvement advice Build and maintain strong client relationships through responsive communication and practical solutions Review and support work of intermediate and junior staff Identify workflow efficiencies and contribute to practice-wide process improvement Play a key role in shaping the strategic direction of the practice, contributing to growth initiatives and client acquisition strategies. About You We're looking for someone who not only has the technical expertise but also the drive, vision, and leadership qualities to grow with the practice and take on a senior leadership role. You will have; Minimum 6 years' experience in public practice Experience may be calculated from either qualification date or total accounting experience IPA, CA or CPA qualified (TPB registration will be highly regarded also) Sound technical knowledge across tax and accounting standards Excellent communication and relationship-management skills Proactive, reliable, and able to balance autonomy with teamwork Proficient using Xero, MYOB, Quickbooks and ACCESS Handisoft an advantage Australian work authorisation required for this position What We Offer $85k – $125k super, negotiable based on experience A balanced workload and supportive environment that values quality work over long hours A stable, respected firm with strong local presence and loyal clients Supportive, down-to-earth culture where input is valued Clear scope for progression and leadership development Located in the beautiful Hawkesbury region — close to home, away from the commute
