Perth IT & Telecomms System Administration Senior role across enterprise infrastructure Microsoft, cloud, virtualisation & security focus Hands-on role with project ownership We are exclusively partnering with a large, established organisation in the resources sector to recruit a Senior Systems Engineer on a permanent basis. This is a senior, hands-on role responsible for the design, stability, security and ongoing improvement of enterprise systems and cloud infrastructure. You will own core platforms, lead infrastructure initiatives and act as a senior technical escalation point across the business. Key Responsibilities: – Design, implement and maintain enterprise systems and cloud environments – Own Microsoft platforms including Windows Server, Active Directory and Microsoft 365 – Manage virtualised environments across VMware, Citrix and Hyper-V – Implement backup, disaster recovery and security controls – Monitor platforms, remediate issues and optimise performance – Contribute to network operations (LAN, VLAN, firewalls, VPNs) – Lead infrastructure projects and technical initiatives – Maintain technical standards and documentation About You: – Proven experience in a senior systems or infrastructure engineering role – Strong Microsoft server, Microsoft 365 and Azure capability – Experience across on-prem and virtualised environments (VMware, Citrix, HCI, enterprise servers) – Relevant certifications (Microsoft) and/or tertiary qualifications – Strong troubleshooting, ownership and delivery mindset – Confident communicator able to work across technical and non-technical teams Only Currently Perth based Candidates can be considered and unfortunately sponsorship isn’t available for this position.
