We have an exciting opportunity for a Race Day Sales Account Manager to join our Sales & Sponsorship team on a permanent full-time basis, located at Caulfield Racecourse. This role is the perfect mix of strategy and execution where you’ll manage a portfolio of clients, coordinate race day experiences and uncover opportunities to grow partnerships. Working alongside the Sales Manager, you’ll help drive commercial outcomes while keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes. You’ll also work closely with the Sales Coordinator, sharing knowledge and keeping the team firing as we head into race days. In The Saddle Take the reins on your own portfolio of hospitality and dining clients, building strong relationships and being their go-to contact. Spot opportunities to renew, upsell and grow partnerships within your accounts. Lead the coordination of race day events, including managing contracts, final numbers and preparing event briefs. Work closely with operations and food & beverage teams to ensure every event runs smoothly from the first guest arrival to the final race. Be part of the race day atmosphere, supporting clients on the ground and making sure their experience is one to remember. Keep an eye on sales performance and client feedback, helping the team continually improve and evolve our offerings. Collaborate with the Sales Manager and Sales Coordinator so the whole team is working together towards the same goals. Your Track Record You’ve got a least 2 years’ experience in an events or sales role within a fast paced, high-volume environment. You’re confident with Microsoft Office and other relevant software. You have strong organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorties, especially in the lead-up to race days. Exposure to corporate partnerships and sponsorship will help you excel in this role. You are a natural communicator who enjoys building genuine relationships. You have high attention to detail and take pride in delivering a great client experience. An interest in thoroughbred racing is a definite plus.
