We are looking for a compassionate, reliable and well-presented individual who can assist the Funeral Director and team in delivering professional and respectful services to the local community. This role is ideal for someone who is calm under pressure, naturally empathetic, and takes pride in helping people during difficult times. About the Role As a Funeral Director's Assistant, you will support the funeral team in delivering services with care, dignity and professionalism. This is a hands-on role where attention to detail, sensitivity and reliability are essential. You will assist with a variety of tasks including preparing for services, supporting families and ensuring everything runs smoothly on the day. Key Responsibilities Assist with funeral services and support the Funeral Director during services and viewings Provide respectful and professional assistance to families and guests Prepare venues and equipment for funeral services Assist with the transfer and care of the deceased when required Ensure all tasks are completed with professionalism, care and attention to detail About You You are someone who naturally leads with kindness and respect. You remain calm in emotional situations and take pride in helping others.
