We are looking for a compassionate, organised and professional Funeral Arranger / Conductor to join a dedicated team in Ballina . This role plays a key part in guiding families through the funeral process, ensuring every service is delivered with care, dignity and attention to detail. What the role involves You will work closely with families to plan and conduct funeral services that reflect their wishes and honour their loved ones. Key responsibilities include: Meeting with families to arrange funeral services and guide them through the process with care and professionalism Coordinating and directing funeral services to ensure everything runs smoothly and respectfully Managing documentation, service details and payments with strong attention to detail Working closely with the funeral team to ensure all arrangements are carried out correctly Delivering exceptional service to families and the wider community during sensitive moments What you'll bring This role suits someone who is compassionate, organised and comfortable working in an emotionally sensitive environment. You will have: A current unrestricted driver's licence (essential) Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate with people from all walks of life The confidence to guide families through arrangements and discuss services and costs clearly Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow processes carefully Emotional maturity and the ability to support grieving families with sensitivity and respect * The ability to remain calm, professional and supportive in emotional situations Experience in retail, hospitality, community services or customer-facing roles is highly valued.
