Hudson is partnering with an Australian organization in the pursuit of a SOC analyst to join their team. You will be working in a closely knit team, with exposure to a range of tools and technologies as you protect their environment while developing your own skills. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their cyber security career to apply their skills and accelerate their learning. Responsibilities Perform operational SOC activities including incident detection, management, response, investigation and reporting Design, create, and implement incident response play books Look for ways to improve security/efficiencies, tuning detection tooling etc. Proactively look for ways to increase security of the business’s infrastructure Review and update technical documentation as required Requirements Security experience of 1 years in a similar SOC role A genuine passion for information security and learning, actively advancing your skills with online training, experimenting in a home lab environment, etc. Great communication skills, be confident in engaging with a wide range of technical and non-technical stakeholders to discuss cyber security matters General IT experience (e.g. help desk) would also be highly regarded Must be Australian citizen or PR If you would like to learn more about this role please apply online or reach out to chris.dalziel@hudson.com Diversity, Equity & Inclusion at Hudson Hudson is committed to helping you find a workplace where you feel respected, supported, and free to thrive.
