We are Looking For A senior finance leader with deep technical accounting expertise to shape Stockland’s accounting policies, provide specialist advisory support for complex transactions, and lead the delivery of high quality statutory reporting for the Group. What You’ll Do You will lead Stockland’s external financial reporting and accounting policy function, ensuring our disclosures to ASX, ASIC and joint venture partners are accurate, compliant and delivered on time. This full time permanent role sits at the heart of the Group Finance function and exists to strengthen technical accounting capability, support complex commercial transactions, and maintain excellence in statutory reporting. You will provide expert accounting advice on new standards, business activities and transactions, ensuring clear, consistent application of accounting policies across the Group. You will manage Stockland’s relationship with PwC and oversee half year and year end reporting cycles to ensure a high standard of audit outcomes. You will also lead a team of onshore and offshore finance professionals and work closely with senior leaders, the Audit Committee and key business stakeholders to support decision making, uphold financial integrity and deliver continuous improvement across reporting and policy activities.
