This role involves supporting tradespeople and production staff with pipe processing, material handling, and general workshop duties. The successful candidate will assist with cutting and preparing pipes, operating basic workshop machinery, handling materials, and maintaining a safe and organised workspace. This position is ideal for someone who is hands-on, mechanically minded, and willing to learn in a manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities: Assist with cutting pipes to required sizes according to specifications Mark out and prepare pipes for processing and fabrication Operate workshop equipment including pipe threading and pipe roll grooving machines (training provided if required) Assist with loading and unloading trucks and moving materials within the workshop Support tradespeople with workshop tasks Safely operate hand and power tools Perform general labouring and workshop duties as required Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment in line with WHS standards Requirements: Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident Previous experience working in a manufacturing, workshop, or labouring environment preferred Experience using hand and power tools Ability to read and follow basic drawings or specifications Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn Ability to work independently and as part of a team Commitment to workplace health and safety practices If you believe you are the right fit for this opportunity, hit apply now!
