This role is ideal for someone with experience applying to State Records NSW disposal authorities and working confidently with physical and digital archival material. About the Role You will be responsible for sentencing and processing legacy correspondence held by the Archives Office of NSW. This includes determining retention requirements, preparing files for transfer to the State Archives, or organising appropriate destruction activities, all in line with relevant disposal authorities. Key Responsibilities Apply to NSW State Records disposal authorities to sentence legacy correspondence files. Review, identify, and list files for transfer to NSW State Archives. Identify, list, and box files designated for destruction. Update and maintain metadata within CM10. Perform manual handling tasks, including carrying and moving archive boxes. Use Excel for data entry, reconciliation, and reporting. About You Experience using State Records NSW disposal authorities (strongly preferred). Background in records management, archives, libraries, or information governance. Skilled in CM10 and Microsoft Excel. Able to perform regular physical tasks (manual handling required).
