HR Manager, 12-Month Fixed term, Immediate start, Sydney CBD Location Your new company A major government institution is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead their HR function during a period of organisational change and transformation. This is a 12month fixed-term position.As a key member of the leadership team, you will provide strategic HR direction, drive cultural change, and oversee a broad portfolio including workforce planning, employee relations, performance, learning & development, and recruitment. Your new role Lead and mentor a highperforming HR team. Deliver expert, contemporary HR advice across all areas of people and culture. Implement bestpractice HR frameworks, policies, and systems. Influence senior stakeholders and provide trusted strategic support to the Executive Team. Oversee workforce planning, capability development, and employee engagement initiatives. Manage complex HR matters with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgement. Drive continuous improvement and support organisational transformation. What you'll need to succeed The public sector is highly regarded but not essential. Expertise across the full HR lifecycle, including workforce planning, performance, ER/IR, talent management, policy, learning & development, and change management. Strong communication, influencing and stakeholder engagement skills. Sound knowledge of HR legislation, regulations and contemporary HR practice. Tertiary qualifications in HR, Business, or related discipline (postgraduate or AHRI membership an advantage).
