Afternoon Shifts Available: 1:54pm - 10:00pm Key Responsibilities: Food Preparation: Hand cutting and trimming of produce and raw/cooked meats; preparing vegetables and ingredients; measuring, mixing and batching components for various cooking methods Assembly Line: Repetitive, hands-on production line work including portioning meals and moving products between areas Machine Operation: Mixing ingredients and operating ovens, flow wrapping, date coding, X-ray, IBEX and mezzanine equipment Physical, Fast-Paced Work: Picking and packing products; lifting, pushing and pulling racks and boxes (up to 15 - 20kg) Cold Environment: Working in temperature-controlled areas (approx. 4°C) with occasional freezer work About You: Comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment Production or food manufacturing experience highly regarded Able to work in cold-room conditions (approx. 4°C) Strong understanding of food safety, quality and hygiene standards Reliable, punctual and committed to doing the job well Physically fit and capable of manual handling up to 20kg A positive team player with good verbal and written communication skills As part of our recruitment process, shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an onsite assessment centre. This session is designed to give you a better understanding of the role and working environment and to allow us to assess skills relevant to the positions.
