The successful candidate will work in close collaboration with classroom teachers. The professional staff of St Peter's Primary School, collaborating with an involved and connected parent community, support the students' learning in all aspects of the Western Australian Curriculum, with Religious Education as the foremost learning area. Selection Criteria 1. Flexibility, resourcefulness, creativity and a passion for education. 2. Be willing to work constructively and positively with teacher direction. 3. Expertise, experience and training appropriate to the needs of the children requiring support. 4. Possess good IT skills, have excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, and demonstrate a high degree of confidentiality. 5. Ability to work professionally, maintaining each child's feeling of safety and security in the classroom. 6. Current First Aid Certificate or willing to obtain. Qualifications Required • Certificate III Education Assistant and/or • Certificate IV Education Assistant Special Needs • Accreditation to work in a Catholic School, or progress towards Accreditation.
