This is a temporary part- time teaching position replacement for a maternity leave in second semester 2026, commencing Term 3, Monday 20 July 2026 and terminating 31 December 2026. Selection Criteria We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic teacher who has the necessary knowledge, skills, ability and professional desire to undertake our music education programme: • consistently demonstrate excellent communication skills. • demonstrate sound knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum and is able to apply this knowledge to challenge and engage learners in the primary years. • use technology as a powerful tool for teaching and learning. • work professionally, cooperatively and collaboratively as part of a cohesive and dedicated team of educators and be a proactive contributor within our community - willing to share their ideas, time and expertise for the good of all. • display excellent classroom management and organisational skills. • differentiate instruction in order to respond to the diverse and distinctive needs of students within the classroom. • authentically nurture positive and respectful relationships with students, staff and families. • experience in coordinating whole school events and school performances would be beneficial. Qualifications Required • Relevant four-year tertiary qualification. • Accreditation to Teach or working towards Accreditation.
