We are seeking a highly skilled Organisational Development Advisor (Band 7) to lead strategic initiatives that enhance organisational capability, engagement, and leadership development for a 3 to 6 month contract. This is a senior role with the opportunity to shape culture and drive meaningful change across the council. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design, development, and implementation of organisation-wide OD and leadership initiatives Develop and maintain leadership frameworks, induction programs, and learning strategies Drive engagement surveys, workforce planning, and diversity and inclusion initiatives Partner with business leaders to identify capability gaps and implement tailored solutions Provide expert advice on organisational change, continuous improvement, and employee engagement Oversee projects end-to-end, ensuring timely delivery and measurable outcomes Mentor and coach staff to build capability and embed best practices Qualifications & Experience: Relevant tertiary qualifications in Organisational Development, HR, Learning & Development, or related field Proven experience in senior OD, change management, or capability roles Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills Demonstrated ability to influence leaders and drive organisation-wide initiatives Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills This is a unique opportunity to contribute at a strategic level in a dynamic local government environment, shaping leadership and culture for long-term impact.
