About the Role Working closely with the Manager Customer Experience and Engagement, you’ll oversee the design and successful delivery of Council’s corporate, external and internal communications activities. You will strategically lead and unify Council’s marketing, media, communications, and stakeholder engagement functions to strengthen community trust, enhance the organisation’s reputation, support Council’s strategic vision, and ensure cohesive, customer-centred communication. Who We're Looking For A degree-qualified professional with extensive experience in corporate communications strategy or public relations. A collaborative and strategic leader with exceptional communication skills and a strong commitment to service excellence and stakeholder engagement. Demonstrated experience leading and guiding a high-performing team to deliver integrated communications services across a large and diverse organisation. Proven project management skills with the ability to lead improvement initiatives and embed cultural change. Demonstrated ability to effectively manage competing priorities and adapt to evolving demands, while achieving corporate and team objectives. Competitive remuneration package, including a salary range of $123,226.69 - $138,941.51 gross per annum, plus 17.5% annual leave loading and up to 12.65% superannuation.
