Family-run business About Our Client Located South of the Perth CBD, our client has been in operation within WA for over 60 years. The team is now looking to strengthen its finance function with this new hire. Job Description Reporting into the Managing Director and Company Secretary, the key scope of this role will be to manage the day to day finance and accounting operations of the business, including: Manage and oversee the financial reporting process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards. Develop and implement financial strategies to support business objectives. Prepare and analyse budgets, forecasts, and financial statements. Lead and mentor the accounting and finance team to achieve operational efficiency (6 - 8 staff). Monitor cash flow and ensure effective financial management practices. Collaborate with senior management to provide financial insights and recommendations. Ensure adherence to tax regulations and oversee audit processes (i.e. Company Tax statements and BAS). The Successful Applicant The successful Group Financial Controller should have: CPA or CA qualification. Strong leadership and team management skills. Multi-entity exposure. Proven experience in the industrial or manufacturing industry. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in financial software and tools (MYOB Advanced/Acumatica is desired). Comprehensive knowledge of Australian accounting standards and tax regulations.
