The Opportunity As a Principal Environmental Scientist, you will contribute to the delivery of Environmental Effects Statements (EES) and land‑use planning projects that support major infrastructure across transport, water, energy/renewables and property. You’ll enjoy a hybrid work arrangement, with the flexibility to work from our Melbourne CBD office and remotely 2–3 days per week. What You’ll Do Lead and support environmental assessment and planning projects (EIS, SSI, SSD, REFs, EES and related approvals). Build and maintain strong relationships with clients across government and the private sector, including Tier 1 developers. Provide planning and environmental inputs into major Victorian and national projects, including: Renewable energy transmission and generation Transport infrastructure and Net Zero transition initiatives Water asset maintenance and delivery programs Property, building development and broader land‑use planning Collaborate with ecologists, acousticians, contaminated land specialists, engineers, designers, stakeholders and communities to deliver integrated, practical and future‑focused solutions. About You You bring 10 years’ experience in environmental approvals and planning and are motivated by resolving complex environmental issues to shape sustainable community outcomes.
