The key duties of the position include The Role The Collins Submarine Program (CSMP) vision is to ensure that Australia has an enduring and potent Collins Class Submarine (CCSM) Capability. As a member of the ILS Sustainment Section, you will be providing guidance, planning and conducting materiel and logistics related Sustainment tasks. You will support the CSMP ILS Sustainment workgroup in activities such as: Assess and verify ILS products in support of CCSM configuration changes; Assist in the management of the Navy Allowance System facilitating the required updates, amendments and verification activities; Engaging with and communicating with stakeholders to identify, respond and provide advice on issues to achieve work unit and Defence outcomes. You will have an understanding of and be able to interpret Defence Logistic Policy and Procedures and provide advice to stakeholders on the required outcomes. You will have knowledge of the Defence Logistics Information System and the Defence Electronic Supply Chain Manual. About our Team The Collins Submarine Program within the Naval Shipbuilding & Sustainment Group (NSSG) is responsible for the maintenance and programmed upgrade of Australia's Collins Class Submarines. The Program works in partnership with the Royal Australian Navy and Industry to deliver the strategic submarine capability to the nation.
