Accounting Accounts Clerk QLD Other Permanent / Full Time 19/3/2026 Local role based in Parkhurst Permanent role - Monday to Friday $70k-$75k/annum super (based on experience) Our client is a fast‑growing engineering company known for quality, innovation, and a strong commitment to their customers within the underground mining industry. As they continue to expand, they are seeking a Junior Accountant to join their finance team. This position is a Monday to Friday full time permanent role. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their accounting career who wants hands‑on experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Responsibilities in the role: Ensure timely customer invoicing within 24 hours of notification Maintain up‑to‑date customer and supplier ageing reports Complete month‑end accounting/finance processes Maintain and update month‑end procedures Perform credit card and statement reconciliations as part of month‑end Assist with stock control, including stock administration and stock takes Support all departments with the generation of purchase orders and process invoices and remittances accordingly Experience to be successful: Tertiary qualification in Finance or Accounting Proven experience in Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable High level of computer literacy Strong organisational and analytical abilities Excellent attention to detail and strong written communication skills Confident interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively over the phone Ability to build positive working relationships across all areas of the business We encourage all applicants whether entry or advanced experience.
