An opportunity exists for an experienced Guidewire Technical Lead to join a leading insurance organisation within the Consumer value stream, delivering initiatives across Motor and Home products. The business has recently migrated to Guidewire Cloud and is now focused on accelerating platform capability through integration led initiatives and pricing enhancements. This role sits within a group wide program and plays a key part in driving technical delivery across core policy systems. This is not a Claims role. The primary focus is PolicyCenter. The Role You will provide hands on technical leadership across Guidewire PolicyCenter initiatives, partnering closely with Solution Architects, business stakeholders and offshore development teams to design and deliver scalable solutions. This role requires strong ownership of delivery, deep PolicyCenter capability and the ability to shape integration patterns within a cloud based environment. Key Responsibilities Lead technical design and delivery across Guidewire PolicyCenter Collaborate with Solution Architects to shape product modelling and integration approaches Drive enhancements across Motor and Home product lines Own integration design across APIs and external enterprise systems Provide technical leadership and guidance to offshore development teams Translate business requirements into robust technical solutions Ensure quality, performance and stability across releases Support pricing and rating related initiatives About You You bring deep Guidewire InsuranceSuite experience, with a strong emphasis on PolicyCenter. Essential Experience Extensive hands on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter Strong understanding of product configuration, rating logic and underwriting rules Integration experience across REST APIs, web services and enterprise platforms Experience leading distributed or offshore development teams Ability to work closely with business stakeholders and architects Experience delivering within complex insurance environments Highly Regarded Exposure to BillingCenter, high level understanding is sufficient Experience within Guidewire Cloud environments Experience within large Australian or New Zealand insurers Motor and Home product exposure The Opportunity This role offers the chance to shape and enhance a mature Guidewire Cloud platform within a high impact Consumer stream.
