This position is for a 12 month fixed term period. Key job responsibilities • Work closely with business in order to understand the roles and responsibilities, and utilise this information to develop effective recruiting strategies • Build and maintain a network of potential candidates through proactive market research and on-going relationship management, gauging candidates for cultural alignment and motivation • Ensure all sourcing channels are sufficiently utilised, including but not limited to employee referrals, internal CRM, career portals, job fairs • Be a subject matter expert on the talent market and offer ideas and strategies that will contribute to the long-range talent landscape • Implement new processes and fine-tune standard processes for recruiting that fits within Amazon's mission to deliver the highest quality results to the customer • Ensure a data-driven approaches in achieving recruitment operational excellence • Ensure the ongoing education of hiring managers and interviewers on recruitment best practice and interview skills training - 5 years of technical recruiting experience or similar, in fast paced environment - Experience managing and prioritising multiple searches, projects and stakeholder relationships - Creative sourcing capability with the ability to proactively network and establish active pipelines of external candidates - Exceptional communication, organisational, and negotiation skills, with a laser focus on delivering outstanding business results - A Bachelor's degree or equivalent post-secondary education - A customer-centric mindset and unwavering commitment to continuous improvement and cost-effective recruiting solutions - Strong consulting and teamwork skills, thriving as both a team leader and collaborative member - Experience creating, measuring and scaling workflow among candidates, hiring managers and the recruiting team Acknowledgement of country: In the spirit of reconciliation Amazon acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community.
