About Early Learning Victoria The Victorian Government is establishing 50 government-owned and operated early learning centres by 2032 as part of the Best Start, Best Life reforms. The centres offer childcare, Three and Four-Year-Old Kindergarten and Pre-Prep. About the Role The ELV Workforce team partners with ELV's early learning professionals throughout the employee life cycle, delivering high-quality HR support, practical advice and clear, consistent policy guidance. In this role, you will: Support talent acquisition strategies to attract quality candidates, including in hard-to-staff locations, and advise on HR and staffing policies. Provide proactive workforce support, including workforce planning, to ensure ELV attracts, retains and develops the right talent. Drive end-to-end recruitment processes, from advertising and shortlisting through to interview, offer and onboarding. Maintain oversight of compliance and workforce data for reporting purposes. Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and streamlined operating procedures. Qualifications and Experience Proven recruitment/HR experience in a complex operational environment. Experience in the early childhood or government sector would be advantageous but is not essential. * Tertiary qualification in human resources or equivalent is desirable.
