The Opportunity: An excellent opportunity has become available for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join a well-established and highly regarded organisation in West Perth. This is a permanent, part-time position offering flexibility across 3–4 days per week, including the option for school hours. This role is best suited to someone who enjoys a stable, transactional AP position within a supportive and friendly team environment. The Company: Our client is part of a large, reputable Australian group operating across the energy, resources, and marine sectors, providing workforce and maintenance services across Australia and New Zealand. The business has a strong track record of stability and long-term staff retention, with a highly experienced leadership team (tenure across senior leadership ranging from 10–15 years) and a positive, down-to-earth culture. The Role: Reporting to the Finance Manager, this position is responsible for providing financial, administrative and clerical support to the wider finance team in a high-volume environment. Key responsibilities include: End-to-end Accounts Payable processing, including invoice coding, approvals and payment runs Managing a high-volume invoice environment (~13,000 annually / ~1,000 monthly / ~250 weekly) Reconciliation of monthly supplier statements Management of the supplier ledger and resolving queries Processing weekly payment runs Supporting month-end processes Identifying and contributing to process improvements within AP Ad hoc finance duties as required The AP function is highly automated, utilising a document capture and workflow system, allowing for efficient processing and reduced manual handling. The business is currently using Navision and transitioning to Business Central. About You: Proven experience in end-to-end Accounts Payable, ideally within a high-volume or fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical skills Confident using ERP systems (Navision / Business Central experience advantageous) Strong Microsoft Office skills and overall system proficiency Ability to manage deadlines and work both autonomously and within a team Excellent communication skills and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset What’s on Offer: Part-time flexibility (3–4 days per week, school hours available) Hybrid working (approx. 30% WFH) Salary package in the range of $80,000 – $85,000 super (pro rata), with flexibility for the right candidate Stable and secure permanent position Friendly, supportive team environment with great retention and culture Convenient location next to public transport (no parking onsite) Apply Now: If this opportunity sounds like something you would be interested in please don't hesitate to apply!
