The Opportunity We are seeking a talented Finance Analyst with 3–5 years’ experience in management accounting or FP&A to join our Consumer Finance team based in Melbourne. This role provides broad‑based financial and accounting support with a focus on the financial oversight of project delivery, capital investment and governance. It establishes disciplined financial rhythms that align to the Consumer organisation’s financial goals, ensuring efficient, well‑governed delivery of initiatives. What you’ll be doing in the role Planning & Financial Management Lead and support capital planning activities, including annual planning and midterm planning cycles. Drive strong financial governance and discipline across capital management, including budgeting, forecasting, prioritisation and reprioritisation of projects. Analyse key project and capital performance metrics, providing insights into portfolio health, risks, and opportunities, including reporting and recommendations. Contribute to reporting and insights that improve financial performance outcomes. Prepare and support month end activities, including variance analysis and financial reviews. Identify and recommend improvements to financial processes, reporting, controls, and governance. You will collaborate closely with a broad set of stakeholders, including: Finance Team Transformation Office / Project Delivery Teams Revenue Office / Billing & Operations Teams Business stakeholders across Consumer functions What you’ll bring to the role 3–5 years’ experience in management accounting, FP&A, commercial finance, or project finance. Strong analytical capability with the ability to interpret data and provide clear, actionable insights. Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, month end processes, and financial governance. Ability to communicate financial information effectively to non financial stakeholders. Strong Excel and financial modelling skills; exposure to ERP or planning systems is advantageous. A continuous improvement mindset with the ability to identify process and reporting enhancements. Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related discipline (CA/CPA progress beneficial).
