The Program Director will provide strategic leadership and executive‑level oversight for the successful delivery of a multi‑year transformation uplift of this organisations digital core platforms. The program will modernise and simplify the organisation’s foundational business systems and processes—such as ERP, asset management, customer platforms, data and integration services—to enable improved customer experience, operational excellence, regulatory compliance and long‑term digital capability. Acting as the primary interface between the program, executive leadership, implementation partners and business stakeholders, the Program Director ensures clear definition of program outcomes, organisational impacts, benefits realisation and change readiness. The role provides thought leadership, strategic guidance and governance discipline to uplift program transparency, delivery confidence, and alignment to enterprise strategy. The Program Director is accountable for managing large-scale digital and organisational change, ensuring integrated delivery across business, technology, data and operational domains. The Program Director must be able to: Communicate complex strategic and technical concepts to executive stakeholders with influence and clarity. Analyse enterprise-wide impacts related to business processes, technology, data, cybersecurity and organisational structures. Lead multi‑stream programs requiring integration of business, digital, data and operational strategies. Negotiate, influence and drive decision clarity across senior stakeholders. Apply critical thinking to anticipate organisational implications, emerging risks and optimisation opportunities. Demonstrate exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Knowledge and experience: Proven experience leading large-scale digital transformation or core system modernisation programs (ERP, CRM, asset management, data platform, integration modernisation, cloud migration, etc). Experience modernising legacy systems, operational processes and data environments. Demonstrated experience with organisational change management in complex, multi‑disciplinary environments. Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, cyber security considerations and data governance. Proven leadership of multi-year programs with significant budgets and cross-functional impact. Minimum 10 years in program delivery leadership roles. Extensive vendor and contract management experience. Experience delivering integrated business and ICT outcomes within regulated, asset-intensive or utility environments (highly desirable).
