This is a Bid Manager role with SG Fleet AU based in Sydney, NSW, AU SG Fleet AU Role Seniority - mid level More about the Bid Manager role at SG Fleet AU About The Role This position is responsible for managing major tenders and proposals from inception through to contract award. The role works closely with the Sales and Customer Relationship management teams and subject matter experts to deliver commercially sound and compelling bid responses in the pursuit of new relationships and our reappointment to existing arrangements. The role is also responsible for the management of client review presentations ensuring high quality and consistency of these documents. Tasks And Responsibilities Manage tenders in accordance with defined bid methodology, ensuring all aspects of tender production and delivery meet customer timeframes. Facilitate and assess the viability of bids and lead key workshops such as kick-off, strategy, content analysis and review sessions. Develop a project plan for the bid response, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned. Ensure that the commercial, legal and operational risks are identified and that the bid response satisfies SG Fleet's governance requirements. Develop and contribute to bid collateral, ensuring that content is professionally written with input from Subject Matter Experts to ensure that it is accurate and current. Contribute to the implementation and use of database technologies and bid/ proposal automation tools that support the efficient production of bids. Facilitate customer Win/Loss reviews post any bid process. Collaborate with the Client Relationship and Business Development team to drive, produce and standardise capability statements and client proposals. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Tertiary qualification in Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, Communication, Writing, Media or related disciplines. Strong bid management experience including using a form of bid methodology. Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills. Extensive experience in document creation, writing (including the ability to write persuasive sales language), proof-reading, and editing. Advanced Microsoft Office experience and knowledge of PowerPoint, and Adobe. Excellent communication demonstrating strong listening and probing skills. Ability to critically analyse information and solve problems, demonstrate resourcefulness, perseverance, financial and legal astuteness, and accountability. Strong organisation and prioritisation skills with an ability to meet specified deadlines and report regularly on progress. Ability to share knowledge and create useful internal and cross-functional relationships. Extensive knowledge of fleet management products, services, systems and processes is desirable.
