Australian Training Company (ATC) has an excellent opportunity for motivated individuals who are interested in commencing or continuing a Certificate III Roof Plumbing Apprenticeship . You’ll work with a qualified and experienced tradespersons located across the Toowoomba / Oakey area, learning valuable skills on real job sites. This is a full-time, Monday to Friday role where you can earn while you learn and build a long-term career in the plumbing industry. About the role As a Roof Plumbing apprentice, you’ll gain hands-on experience working at heights and installing a range of roof plumbing systems. You’ll learn to safely use tools and equipment while developing practical trade skills under supervision. Duties include: • Learning to use hand tools and specialised equipment • Working safely at heights • Installing roof drainage components • Installing external flashings • Installing various roof sheeting profiles • Following safety procedures and instructions on site About you: • Committed and enthusiastic about starting or continuing an apprenticeship • Strong attention to detail • Good manual dexterity • Motivated and eager to learn • Able to follow instructions • Works well in a team environment • Good time management skills Requirements: • Driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle • WHS White Card (essential) • Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident • Available for immediate start This is a full-time position (38 hours per week) . Recent school leavers are strongly encouraged to apply, with full training provided. Successful applicants will be paid under the Plumbing and Fire Sprinklers Award 2020 .
