This is a Allocator role with dnata based in Sydney, NSW, AU dnata Role Seniority - junior, mid level More about the Allocator role at dnata Sydney International Airport We excited to announce a new opportunity within our Passenger services and Ramp Services Team as a full- time Allocator. Allocation refers to the strategic and efficient assignment of resources including staff and equipment to meet operational demands, enhance service quality and ensure compliance with regulations. This process is essential to maintain smooth and effective operations. Successful candidates will receive the relevant level of training to fulfil the role and to meet set expectations and objectives. The Allocator role will be on a rotating roster, operating seven (7) days a week. Position Overview: Determining and obtaining aircraft resource from rostering team and updating worksheets according to airlines SLA’s/ tasks. Managing day of ops by monitoring airline schedules including any delays and actioning /covering sick calls, personal leave etc. Determining and allocating available shifts through a fair and transparent process whilst adhering to all budgets and financial demands. Actioning and updating all shift swaps as per standard operating procedures. Preparing an accurately completed worksheet/crew sheets for the Supervisors and Managers to utilise on shift. Be willing to undertake training and work with new systems implemented into the business. Manage staff allocation for disruptions and delays. Provide the end of shift report to capture all resource modifications including vacant lines, sick calls, shift extensions and call-in’s. Handle and maintain staff and business confidentiality. Update Zambion/payroll system to reflect the updates on worksheets. Knowledge of and understanding of our ground handling business including Service Level Agreements. The ability to work unsupervised and follow procedures. Proven ability to work under pressure within strict time frame, while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. Demonstrated capability to work in a team environment. Ability to adhere to safety and security requirements applicable to the aviation industry.
