As a Senior Accountant – Corporate Advisory, you will play a critical role in maintaining and consistently delivering high-quality service to the firm’s numerous clients, supporting its growth as one of the country’s most rapidly expanding Chartered Accounting firms. Key responsibilities: Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements and tax returns for a wide range of entities, including individuals, companies, partnerships, trusts, and SMSFs. Prepare and review monthly and quarterly management reports for Australian-regulated trust structures. Develop, evaluate, and implement tailored tax-planning strategies to support optimal financial outcomes. Collaborate with your team leader to coordinate all stages of client engagements, supporting managers and partners across advisory, structuring, wealth management, and asset-protection assignments. Provide leadership, coaching, and support to junior team members, helping build a collaborative and high-performing team environment. Requirements: Proven ability to supervise, mentor, and delegate tasks to junior team members. 3–5 years’ experience working in Australian public practice. Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Commerce, with CA or CPA qualification completed or in progress. Familiarity with financial instruments such as interest rate swaps and derivative swaps. Experience with large and complex business structures, handling diverse client engagements. Solid knowledge of key tax areas, including Division 7A, GST, FBT, and SMSFs.
