Silverstrand is seeking a Senior Surveyor to become a key part in shaping the future of our business alongside an experienced team. You will be based in our Brisbane/ SEQ/ Regional projects and employed permanently. About the role: Reporting to the Survey Manager, the Senior Surveyor is responsible for: Autonomously working on projects. Basic set-outs/ as-built of civil projects as the works progress Variety of civil project works across earthworks, roads, pipework, structures, piling, metal works, etc Volume Surveying for trenches, bulk earthworks, etc CAD Skills to present drawings and volumes for potential variation works Completion of control surveys Compiling monthly production reports Loading designs on GPS Machines Collaborating with the project teams to ensure accuracy Essential Skills and Experience: Minimum Diploma in Surveying and/or relevant tertiary qualifications Previous experience in an Engineering or Project Surveyor role Registration with the Surveyors board of QLD as an Associate Surveyor, Graduate Surveyor or higher is highly regarded Experience with Trimble Total Station and GPS or Leica Total Stations or similar Experience using 12D software or similar Current Australian manual driver's licence Manage and raise technical queries Knowledge of construction scheduling and sequencing Excellent safety record from previous projects About Us: Silverstrand is a privately owned company that provides high-quality civil engineering and construction services across Australia and New Zealand.
