We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to assist in the precision assembly of scientific calibrating equipment used in mining operations worldwide. Extra Earnings: Competitive overtime rates apply when the workload ramps up. Your Daily Responsibilities Precision Assembly: Building and assembling high-end scientific calibrating equipment. Technical Interpretation: Reviewing and interpreting technical plans and engineering drawings. Workspace Management: Maintaining a neat, tidy, and organised work area. Safety & Efficiency: Operating in a safe and timely manner to meet production goals. Collaboration: Carrying out other related duties as directed by the site supervisor. Skills and Experience Foundation: Basic experience as a Mechanical Fitter. Tool Savvy: Proficiency in the use of various hand tools. Technical Literacy: The ability to accurately read and interpret engineering drawings . Attention to Detail: Strong hand-eye coordination and a focus on quality. License: A forklift license is considered a significant advantage. Mindset: The ability to work effectively both independently and as a team contributor.
