The Opportunity This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Procurement Business Partner – IT & Indirects to join a large and well-regarded government agency. This permanent full-time role will see you partnering closely with senior stakeholders to deliver strategic procurement outcomes across technology and indirect categories. The Role Reporting to the Head of Category Management, you will: Lead end-to-end IT and indirect procurement activities. Partner with business units to develop sourcing strategies. Manage complex RFx processes and contract negotiations. Support governance and compliance within a government procurement framework. Influence and manage stakeholders, including those who may be complex or challenging. Deliver commercial outcomes that balance value, risk and service delivery. This role requires someone who is confident navigating stakeholder environments and capable of driving procurement best practice across IT categories. Your Background: Strong experience in IT procurement (software, hardware, SaaS, ICT services, etc.). Demonstrated ability to manage and influence senior and challenging stakeholders. Experience within government or highly regulated environments preferred. Commercially astute with strong contract management capability. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. What’s on offer: Permanent full-time role. Total package: Up to $187,115.76 (including super). Sydney CBD location with hybrid working: 3 days in the office / 2 days from home.
