Your Role as Care Worker You’ll deliver person-centred services across aged care, disability and community service settings. You’ll empower individuals to live more independently, safely, and meaningfully by providing personal care (showering/dressing), continence support, assistance with meals, assistance with medications, domestic duties (laundry/housework/ironing/gardening). Taking clients shopping providing transport, in home respite, centre-based respite care, overnight respite (including sleepovers), social support/activities. You will provide the ability for clients to access other relevant services, and any other tasks as stated in the customer care plan. Demonstrated ability to provide excellent, flexible and holistic care to a variety of customers with varying needs. Demonstrated understanding of the needs of and empathy towards older people and people with a disability. Essential Requirements Willingness to travel in the community and between clients for work . Certificate III in Individual Care (or equivalent) from a recognised provider for appointment to Level 3.
