Description Prepare and review financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations. Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes. Manage and reconcile accounts, including general ledger and balance sheet accounts. Support budgeting and forecasting activities to aid strategic decision-making. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient financial operations. Monitor and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies. Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation and support. Identify process improvements and implement best practices in financial management. Profile A successful Senior Financial Accountant should have: A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional accounting qualification (e.g. CPA or CA). Proven experience in financial accounting within the insurance or related industry. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Workday is desirable, but not essential Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
