The Position As RSGx continues to experience exponential growth, we are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented PMO Engineer to join our Project Management Office. In this role you will play a hands-on part in how we set up, monitor, and report on construction projects. You will work closely with Project Managers, site teams, and senior leadership to ensure our project controls systems are being used effectively and that project performance data is accurate, timely, and meaningful. About The Role Project Setup and Configuration Assist with setting up new projects in the company’s project management and reporting systems (e.g. Procore, MS Project, Power BI, Aconex, or similar) Ensure project structures, templates, coding, and workflows are configured correctly and consistently across the portfolio Project Monitoring and Reporting Monitor active projects against key milestones, budgets, programmes, and deliverables Prepare and distribute regular project status reports, dashboards, and performance summaries for leadership review Metrics and Data Analysis Track and analyse project performance metrics including cost performance, schedule adherence, RFI and variation turnaround times, and safety statistics Maintain data integrity across systems and identify opportunities for process improvement based on data insights Systems and Continuous Improvement Learn and become proficient in the company’s project management tools and platforms Provide first-level support to project teams on system usage, workflows, and best practice Essential About You: Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline 3- 10 years’ experience in a construction project environment (site or office-based) Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with project management or reporting tools is highly regarded Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and willingness to learn Desirable Experience with platforms such as Procore, Aconex, MS Project, Primavera P6, or Power BI Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM) or other project controls methodologies Exposure to PMO functions or project controls within a construction or infrastructure context What We Offer Competitive salary package including superannuation Genuine career development and progression pathways within a growing PMO function Mentoring and training opportunities to build your project controls expertise A collaborative and supportive team culture Exposure to a diverse portfolio of construction projects Before we jump into the responsibilities of the role.
