This is a Plant Operator - Quarries role with Boral based in QLD, AU Boral Role Seniority - mid level More about the Plant Operator - Quarries role at Boral Your next opportunity: Based at West Burleigh on Queensland's Gold Coast We have an exciting, permanent, full-time opportunity for an experienced Plant Operator to join our high performing Quarries business. You will be part of a team responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our quarry equipment. Your day will involve: Safe operation of quarry mobile plant equipment (Haul/Dump Truck, Excavator, Crusher and Front End Loader) Basic maintenance and plant housekeeping Active participation in problem solving and continuous improvement activities Participation in safety initiatives including pre-starts, toolboxes and incident reporting What we are looking for: Experience in Excavation heavy machinery - Front End Loader, Crushing Equipment Quarry experience highly regarded, but other fixed plant processing experience will be considered Self-motivated with a strong commitment to safety and quality Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team with minimal supervision Availability to work Monday to Saturday Why Boral Opportunity for training and career development opportunities Employment stability – permanent role Competitive hourly rate overtime allowances Equal opportunity employer Organisation dedicated to health and safety of employees Before we jump into the responsibilities of the role.
