The opportunity: Our groomers primarily work under the starry skies assessing and managing the oversnow trails between the village, cross-country trails and snow play areas so our staff and guests can safely move around the resort. Become part of a team delivering exception service and product for our guests to make the most of their winter holiday! Provide grooming services within the village boundaries, designated snowplay areas, cross country trails, and access routes. Support wider Resort Ops and Environment Teams with customer/stakeholder engagement to provide education, and quality customer service. Collaborate with the team to provide safe and reliable access to oversnow vehicle tracks and cross-country trails and support to other work areas as appropriate to experience and skill set. systems and management as required. Assist in providing accessible and fun snowplay and tobogganing experiences at Wire Plain, adapting to snow levels and resource availability. Oversee daily plant and equipment operations, including conducting safety checks, managing lifting equipment, and ensuring proper maintenance. Key Selection Criteria Minimum 2 years operations experience including heavy plant and equipment operating and maintenance experience. Experience driving in hazardous weather and alpine road conditions. Work Safely in the Construction Industry CPCCOHS1001A (White Card) (desirable). Medium or heavy rigid licence endorsement (desirable). The successful candidate will be required to: Have full Australian working rights. Currently hold or be willing to obtain a Victorian Working with Children Check – Employee type Have a current, unrestricted Australian Driver’s Licence.
