Sedgman is proud to offer the position of Shop Detail and Engineering Coordinator to join our team in Brisbane. In this role you will provide shop detailing delivery management and coordination through design engineering, procurement, fabrication and construction activities. Key Responsibilities: Ensure Safety in Design principles are incorporated in all areas of Sedgman’s design and within the Contractor’s shop detail design Facilitate, attend and engage in meetings as required for project delivery Participate in the review, checking of design and shop detail drawings. Ensure drawings adhere to AS1100 or relevant standards, Sedgman standards and relevant codes of practise Advise and seek to resolve any potential fabrication issues that may arise with the current design Be proactive in exploring new procedures within Sedgman or our Contractors to achieve time and cost saving and delivering value to our clients Work in conjunction with all Sedgman entities in the development of project budgets and schedules for Contractor’s works Actively engaged with Contractors and chair weekly progress meetings.
