About the Role: As a Senior Associate within the Disputes & Investigations team, you will play a key role in managing complex litigation matters and supporting Partners on high‑profile disputes. You'll work across a broad range of matters rather than being siloed into a single sub‑team, with exposure to Partners locally and nationally. Managing and progressing complex commercial litigation matters Contributing to dispute strategy, case preparation, and resolution pathways Preparing high‑quality pleadings, submissions, and court documents Appearing in or preparing matters for courts and tribunals (including the Commercial Court of the Supreme Court of Victoria) Delegating to, supervising, and mentoring junior lawyers Engaging directly with clients, counsel, and key stakeholders Supporting business development and client relationship initiatives About You: You will thrive in this role if you are a confident disputes lawyer who enjoys taking ownership of matters while working collaboratively within a high‑performing team. 5-8 years' post‑qualification experience, including at least 12 months at Senior Associate level Strong experience in commercial litigation gained in private practice Sound working knowledge of litigation procedures and case management Experience with the Commercial Court of the Supreme Court of Victoria (highly regarded) Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills A proactive, solutions‑focused mindset The ability to mentor junior lawyers in a supportive and inclusive way If you're looking to step into a senior disputes role with real responsibility, quality work, and clear progression within a respected national firm, we'd love to hear from you.
