About the role: As a Senior Associate in this expanding tax practice, you'll be a key advisor to sophisticated clients navigating intricate tax landscapes. You'll work across the full spectrum of direct and indirect tax issues, tackle complex transactions, and play a meaningful role in developing capability within the team. Provide strategic tax advice across income tax, CGT, GST, stamp duty, and international tax Lead complex advisory engagements, including structuring, transactions, tax risk reviews, and dispute matters Mentor and guide junior lawyers, contributing to the group's capability and culture Prepare sophisticated written advice, submissions, opinions, and regulatory correspondence Engage directly with high-profile clients, regulators, and commercial stakeholders Partner with senior leaders on intricate disputes and high-stakes matters Contribute to business development, client acquisition, and thought leadership across the practice About You: 5-8 years' PQE from a high-calibre law firm or Big 4 / mid-tier tax legal division Strong technical grounding in both direct and indirect tax Excellent analytical, drafting, and written communication skills Proven experience managing intricate matters with autonomy A client-first mindset and the ability to deliver commercially balanced solutions A developing or transportable practice (highly regarded but not essential) A collaborative, curious, and proactive approach If you're seeking a role where you can influence, lead, and grow within a respected national practice, we'd love to hear from you.
