About the role: This role provides an opportunity make an impact from the outset of the delivery, supporting the Project Director and reporting to Senior Management on the financial, contractual, and administrative status of the project. You will focus on managing and monitoring all costs and contractual matters ensure best possible commercial outcomes are achieved. Your key duties will involve: Responsibility for the entire commercial function of a technically challenging and innovative D&C project. Administration of head contract to required timeframes and clear communication of change under a collaborative open book arrangement. Control of costs across a varied range of direct delivered, subcontracted and consultant engaged packages. Lead procurement to maintain program, de-risk the scope of works. Lead internal monthly reporting, payment claim and external commercial reporting requirements. Lead the risk and opportunity identification and strategy process. Your Skills and Experience Aside from having relevant qualifications and Commercial Management experience ideally within a civil construction/engineering/rail environment, you are a confident and effective communicator on all levels who has demonstrated examples leading commercial negotiations for a range of complex contracts/projects. Alliance style and Joint Venture experience is favoured.
