About Tenants Queensland Tenants Queensland has represented the interests of Queensland renters since 1986. The organisation provides specialist tenancy advice, advocates on behalf of renters and works to improve residential tenancy law and housing outcomes across the state. Through the QSTARS program, Tenants Queensland supports eligible renters with information, advice, advocacy and referral pathways designed to improve housing security and strengthen people’s ability to resolve tenancy issues. About the role As the TQ QSTARS Advice Worker , you will initially provide intake support and, after training, deliver information, advice and guidance in relation to tenancy matters under the Residential Tenancies and Rooming Accommodation Act 2008 . You will work with clients one-on-one, help them understand their options, support them through legal and practical pathways, and advocate where required. This role suits someone who can combine compassion with professionalism and who can work effectively with clients experiencing stress, vulnerability or housing insecurity.
