We’re looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer with specialist experience in HVAC to join our Buildings Team in Newcastle, or any other of GHD’s Northern NSW offices. This is a fantastic opportunity to and make an impact on local Buildings projects in our region, and to work as part of our global team in a large and well-established international consultancy, with your role offering great scope for career growth. Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in: Leading high-profile buildings projects that shape our built environment. Overseeing mechanical engineering design for HVAC projects for complex construction initiatives. Providing clients with expert technical guidance and strategic advice, while developing and maintaining strong and supportive client relationships Providing leadership to project teams and offering guidance and mentoring to junior team members Ongoing career development opportunities in a vibrant and collaborative workplace culture. What would you bring to the team? A relevant university degree in Mechanical Engineering Between 7 – 14 years of experience and proven expertise in HVAC Systems from within a consulting environment. Membership of Engineers Australia and working towards CPEng and NER registration is desirable. Strong communication skills and ability to engage confidently with clients and stakeholders.
