Over the past two decades, ISES has expanded its global presence and been working closely with Australian education providers and international partners to deliver professional, reliable and ethical services to students and skilled migrants worldwide. Due to continued business growth and increasing demand from overseas markets, we are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead our international market expansion, particularly across China and Southeast Asia including Vietnam, Indonesia, Cambodia and neighbouring regions. Key Responsibilities • Develop and implement strategic business development plans to expand the company’s presence in key overseas markets, particularly China and Southeast Asia • Build and maintain partnerships with overseas education agents, institutions, and recruitment partners • Promote Australian education programs and migration pathways to prospective students and clients in international markets • Identify new market opportunities and establish recruitment channels across targeted regions • Coordinate marketing campaigns, seminars, webinars and promotional events in overseas markets • Work closely with Australian education providers to develop recruitment strategies and student pipelines • Manage relationships with existing overseas branch offices and support their recruitment initiatives • Analyse market trends, competitor activity and student demand to support strategic planning • Provide regular reports to senior management on recruitment performance and market development Skills and Experience • Proven experience in business development, international education recruitment, or migration consulting • Strong knowledge of the Australian international education sector and student recruitment markets • Demonstrated experience working with or developing markets in China and Southeast Asia • Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills • Ability to develop strategic partnerships and manage international networks • Strong organisational and project management skills • Fluency in English and Mandarin or another Southeast Asian language will be highly regarded • Ability to travel internationally when required What We Offer • Opportunity to work with a well-established and reputable education and migration agency • International business development role with strong growth potential • Supportive and multicultural team environment • Opportunities to engage with global education partners and international markets
